Q. Where can I get a toothbrush from?
A. There will be supplies available in each clinical area that will be placed in a designated place. Please consult the local implementation poster.
Q. How do I use a suction toothbrush?
A. Local training will be provided if the suction toothbrush to be used in your facility is not the one that your organisation normally uses. Please contact your local trial co-ordinator. A video of the principles of using the intersurgical suction toothbrush is here
Q. I have been unable to perform oral care twice today because my patient was unavailable. Do I need to do anything?
A. We understand that patients are not always available due to having to leave departments for treatments and examinations. Please just note this in the record.
